Undefended Divorces – David offers fixed fees as follows:
If you are the Petitioner: £850(+VAT £170) plus the court fee of £550 = £1570.
If you are the Respondent: £400(+VAT £80) = £480. You may be ordered by the Court to pay some or all of the costs of your spouse particularly if you are being divorced on the basis of your adultery or unreasonable behaviour.
What’s included?
David will meet you or speak to you on the telephone for an initial consultation to discuss your individual circumstances and give you advice about your relationship breakdown.
David will advise you about divorce law and procedure, draft the paperwork and deal with the Court on your behalf. He will keep you informed about what is happening and whether there are any other issues that ought to be dealt with e.g. financial.
What if my spouse defends the divorce?
This is unusual but does happen. The fixed fee does not cover defended divorces.
Does the fee include dealing with children or financial issues?
No, the fixed fee is for the divorce process only. Children or financial issues are separate. We offer help with Financial Orders.
